Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal as we transition from Peachtree to a sophisticated new accounting software. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth and success.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships or practical coursework.
- Skills:
- Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Peachtree or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the migration of financial data from Peachtree to our new accounting software.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of accounting transactions and records.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to maintain data integrity and streamline processes.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
