Position: Guest Service Officer

Skill and Educational Background:

  • B.A. degree/Diploma in Hotel & Tourism Management, Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or similar positions.
  • Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Job Description:

  • Meet and greet all guests and assist with registrations.
  • Ensure strict control of room keys.
  • Ensure the implementation of all company minimum brand standards and optional brand standards where appropriate.
  • Embrace all Touches of Hyatt and the Rooms Top 20.
  • Respond to Consumer Audit results and implement relevant changes.
  • Prepare welcome cards and keys for arriving FIT guests.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of hotels and tourism in India.
  • Report “Lost and Found” items.
  • Work closely with other Front Office personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and guest satisfaction.
  • Support and embrace the spirit of teamwork.
  • Verify arrival and departure details and arrange luggage handling, transportation, and other services requested by guests.
  • Understand the sequence of duties related to Royal Family visits and accord protocol as necessary.
