Role Overview:

The Proposal Writer Consultant will be part of a talent pool on a retainer framework agreement, activated during surge times to respond to funding opportunities. Consultants will coordinate bid teams and lead the drafting of high-quality bid documents in education, health, and livelihoods in line with donor guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate relevant bid teams.
• Draft high-quality bid documents including concept notes, presentations, proposals, budgets, reports, log frames, and Theories of Change.
• Ensure compliance with donor guidelines.

Ideal Applicant Profile:

• Experience: Proven track record in writing high-quality documentation for international donors, particularly as a lead proposal writer.
• Proven Success: History of winning donor proposals for organizations like USAID, EC, FCDO, and UN Agencies.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the technical aspects of education, health, and/or livelihoods.

Skills and Competencies:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent coordination and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
