Position: CPiE Coordinator (Child Protection in Emergency Coordinator)
Job Summary:
The CPiE Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the implementation of child protection in emergency projects in targeted woredas. This role involves close collaboration with district and kebele stakeholders. The position holder is expected to ensure the project is implemented in accordance with the Minimum Standard of Child Protection in Emergency and Plan International’s Child Protection in Emergency Policy and Guidelines.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Law, Political Science & International Relations, Community Development, or other related fields of social science studies.
- Experience:
- Strong experience (5 years) in the child protection sector.
- Technical understanding of CP data management, policies, conventions, etc.
- Experience in designing and facilitating training and capacity building on child protection, counseling, and/or case management technical areas with a variety of audiences.
- Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.
- Preferably experienced in the management of child protection in emergencies projects in Guji/West Guji Zone or Borena Zone.
