Tsehay Insurance S.C. (TISc) was established by 105 shareholders on March 28, 2012. The company is registered by the National Bank of Ethiopia under proclamation No. 86/1994 and license No. 017/12. With a strong foundation, TISc began operations with a subscribed capital of Birr 45 million and paid-up capital of Birr 11,480,000, which exceeded the minimum requirement of Birr 3 million. The company initially started with three branches in Addis Ababa and serves more than 45,000 customers as of June 30, 2021.
