Internship Engineering Facility and Projects Unit

Position Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate university degree program in Architecture, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in drawing and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor campus landscape implementation and maintenance status.
  • Update space charge database monthly and provide reports to engineering supervisors.
  • Supervise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works on site.
  • Gather building information including floor plans and structural details for the new ticketing system.
  • Assist in space allocation and measurement within the building.
  • Data entry into the new ticketing system for work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to obtain PPM data for effective maintenance planning.
  • Provide training and support to staff using the new ticketing system.
  • Document user manuals and technical documentation for the system.
  • Organize and manage SharePoint data.
