Position: Purchasing Officer
- Location: Addis Ababa
Skills and Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Collect pro forma from suppliers and negotiate prices prior to purchases.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to the storekeeper, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Cross-check prices from different suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Identify and distinguish legitimate suppliers from fraudulent ones.
