1. Director of Business Development

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education:
  • BA Degree in Business-related field of studies with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in hospitality sales & marketing or account management, out of which a minimum of five years in a managerial or equivalent capacity.
  • OR
  • MA Degree in Business-related field of studies with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in hospitality sales & marketing or account management, out of which a minimum of three years in a managerial or equivalent capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement all sales plans activities and maximize property’s business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meetings and convention planners, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate client accounts, government departments, and other producers closely allied to hotel business.
  • Develop business strategies realized by other sales staff.
  • Conduct all day-to-day activities related to the sales & marketing function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement marketing materials and tools to support new business ventures.
  • Conduct market research to identify developments/changes in industry trends to make necessary adjustments.
  • Make sales calls, meet with potential new clients, and build strong relationships.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to effectively communicate and implement sales strategy and objectives.
  • Generate new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure that the Brand standard of the hotel is consistently followed.

2. Director of Engineering

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education:
  • BSc Degree in Civil/Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 9 years work experience in Engineering, Maintenance Program & Methods Development or Maintenance Planning & Production Control activities, out of which three years in a Management capacity.
  • OR
  • MSc Degree in Civil/Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in Engineering, Maintenance Program & Methods Development or Maintenance Planning & Production Control activities, out of which three years in a Management capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and manage all activities related to industrial, electrical, and electronics, programmable logic control, and computerized air conditioning systems.
  • Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial, Catering, Laundry, Plating, Machine Shop’s machinery, x-ray machines, automatic firefighting systems, stand-by generators, low and high voltage loop systems.
  • Prepare, estimate, record, and report on work performed, and ensure the completion of remaining work in accordance with schedules.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain all Life Safety Systems, including but not limited to Fire, Burglary, Surveillance Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Access Control Systems, Intercom, Network Clocks, Freezer/Cooler Probes, Audio, Security/HVAC Pressure Sensors, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or conditions.
  • Maintain and upgrade all life safety systems’ hardware and software.
  • Respond timely to dispatched service calls.
  • Report issues requiring vendor escalation or parts/materials.
  • Implement and follow up on coaching and mentoring activities per the policy.
  • Coach/train employees when assigned as a coach.
  • Assess employees under coaching when assigned as an assessor.
