East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is seeking passionate, capable, and competent candidates for the following positions:

1. Workshop Controller

Skills and Educational Background:

  • First Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Planner/Machine Specialist/relevant experience within the company.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure housekeeping to WCM standards.
  • Conduct monthly tool inspections.
  • Schedule workshop activities according to priorities and availability.
  • Arrange outsourced work for spares refurbishment when required.
  • Support maintenance and shutdown activities.
  • Inspect the quality of work done in support of maintenance activities.
  • Review and approve innovations and improvements from teams.
  • Ensure effective application of the Manufacturing Way in all areas of control.
  • Provide PPE and ensure compliance.
  • Develop the annual budget requirement for maintaining workshop equipment.

Location: Addis Ababa

2. Maintenance Controller

Skills and Educational Background:

  • First Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Planner within the company.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of the asset care plan for the packaging plant.
  • Support the implementation of the asset care plan for the packaging plant.
  • Ensure execution of maintenance and extended maintenance work.
  • Evaluate the impact of new plant and equipment, recommend changes.
  • Lead the MAS’s team in a manner that promotes ownership and team interaction.
  • Ensure team members follow proper safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Ensure all statutory and mandatory checks are part of the asset care management system and are performed.
  • Conduct regular health, safety, and housekeeping checks and audits.

Location: Addis Ababa

3. Team Leader-Distribution

Skills and Educational Background:

  • First Degree in Logistics and Supplies Chain Management/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in logistics environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the distribution plan to ensure product delivery in full and on time to all customers.
  • Manage transport and logistics operations.
  • Conduct reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are adhered to.
  • Conduct initial incident and accident investigations and escalate accordingly.
  • Monitor planned versus actual deliveries to achieve desired customer service levels.
  • Ensure drivers and team members carry out required vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks.
