1. Assistant, Finance

Location: Wukro, Tigray, Ethiopia

Job Summary:

The Assistant I, Finance will manage cash and cheque transactions, ensure accurate documentation, and deposit all cash received promptly.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BA Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of petty cash and general administrative management.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data.
  • Proficiency in general office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in a local language is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of integrity and attention to detail.
  • NGO experience is advantageous.

2. Senior Community Mobilizer

Location: Wukro, Tigray, Ethiopia

Job Summary:

The Senior Community Mobilizer will implement project activities, build relationships with the community, and monitor various programs including Nutrition, Child Friendly Spaces, and Protection and Gender programs.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BA/BSC degree in Gender, Social Work, Food Security, Sociology, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Community Development, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant project implementation experience in child protection, food security, and gender programs within NGOs.
  • Knowledge of local language and communication skills.
  • Experience in community coordination, planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Cultural and gender sensitivity, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Practical experience in child protection and emergency response.

3. Senior Field Coordinator

Location: Wukro, Tigray, Ethiopia

Job Summary:

The Senior Field Coordinator will ensure coordination and implementation of the Joining Forces for Food Security and Child Protection in Emergency project activities, working closely with woreda and regional stakeholders and compiling timely reports.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BA/BSC degree in Gender, Social Work, Food Security, Sociology, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Community Development, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with an INGO.
  • Professional experience in Food Security and Child Protection in Emergency programming, Nutrition, Gender, SGBV, MHPSS, and Cash Distribution.
  • Strong planning, monitoring, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with government and other partners.
  • Good understanding of the external operating environment and government policies related to emergency management.
