The House of Peoples Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) is seeking interested and qualified candidates for the following vacant positions.

About the House of Peoples Representatives:

The first Ethiopian parliament was opened on Nov. 3, 1931, following Emperor Haile Selassie-I’s proclamation of the first constitution in July 1931. Since then, the nature of parliaments in Ethiopia has evolved, varying across different regimes. According to Article 53 of the FDRE constitution, Ethiopia has two Federal Houses: The House of Peoples’ Representatives and the House of the Federation. These Houses were established in August 1995. The House of Peoples’ Representatives serves as the highest authority of the federal government.
