The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Accountant

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) with 2 years of practical work experience, or Master’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) with one year of experience.
  • Proficient in financial management and compliance.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and documents accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing revenues, taxes, and debts.
  • Auditing and verifying compliance with accounting records.
  • Preparation of financial reports and statistical data.
  • Providing advice on security and safety issues.
  • Any other duties assigned by the embassy.

2. Executive Secretary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 10 years of work experience, or a diploma in secretarial and office management (or equivalent) with five years of work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in management (or equivalent) with two years of practical work experience.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the appointments and agenda of the Head of Mission.
  • Arranging meetings and preparing relevant documents.
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings and visits.
  • Handling logistics and security arrangements.
  • Any other duties assigned by the embassy.

3. Receptionist

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 3 years of work experience, or a management diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree in management and public relations (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in managing visitor information.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and directing guests and visitors.
  • Maintaining visitor information log.
  • Responding to inquiries and directing visitors to relevant locations.
  • Any other duties assigned by the embassy.

4. Operator

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 3 years of work experience, or a management diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree in management and public relations (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to handle calls, inquiries, and complaints professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and providing information.
  • Handling inquiries and complaints.
  • Transferring calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensuring callers’ satisfaction.
  • Any other duties assigned by the embassy.

5. Interpreter / Translator

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Languages (or equivalent) with 5 years of field work experience, or Master’s degree (or equivalent) with 3 years of experience, or PhD in Languages (or equivalent) with 1 year of experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, including English, Arabic, and Amharic.
  • Excellent communication and language skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and translation of documents.
  • Translating news and articles.
  • Editing correspondence and letters.
  • Preparation of reports on conferences and meetings.
  • Any other duties assigned by the embassy.
