1. Purchaser

Location: Addis Ababa

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess procurement requirements and initiate procurement process
• Prepare procurement plans and draft specifications
• Assist in preparing procurement/tender documents
• Monitor procurement progress and follow up with vendors for timely delivery
• Maintain inventory and records for vehicles, assets, and office supplies
• Prepare reports on procurement for Administration Manager

Skill and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous procurement experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Deadline: May 12, 2024

2. Junior Accountant

Location: Addis Ababa

Salary: Attractive

Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for financial management related to various television programs. Duties include setting up accounting systems, managing cash flow, and producing financial reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage accounting systems
• Partner with producers to create accurate budgets
• Oversee financial transactions throughout production lifecycle
• Manage payroll, petty cash, and vendor payments
• Track program expenses against budget and report variances
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records
• Produce regular financial reports and forecasts

Skill and Educational Background:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or relevant field
• 0-1 year of experience in accounting
• Proficiency in MS-Office & QuickBooks accounting software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial records
