An exciting opportunity has emerged at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Trade Marketing Manager. The Trade Marketing Manager will report directly to the Channel & Trade Marketing Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will entail:
- Developing and deploying marketing plans annually.
- Creating and executing marketing and business strategies as well as integrated programs to maximize profitable recurring volume growth and enhance the long-term value of the company’s brands.
- Leading the development and deployment of marketing communication, spearheading the development of BTL communication objectives, and ensuring alignment with overall KO marketing communication.
- Developing the portfolio strategy and maximizing long-term profit flow from the brand portfolio.
- Challenging all aspects of the marketing mix by understanding trends and their impact on Coca-Cola brands.
- Integrating all marketing efforts (advertising, promotions, and experiential marketing assets) within a consistent overall brand/marketing plan.
- Designing and implementing promotional plans & strategies by channel/regions.
- Utilizing data to anticipate competitive and consumer trends, assess strategic implications, and optimize business potential through analysis.
- Challenging marketing production costs to optimize the overall marketing budget.
- Leading, motivating, and developing capabilities of the business unit Marketing Team and providing strategic marketing leadership.
Skills and Educational Background:
- First Degree in Marketing Management/Management/Economics/Business Administration or related field of studies with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing, of which 2 years should be in a managerial position.
