1. Lead Country Director
Location: Addis Ababa
Skill and Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least ten years of increasingly responsible work experience, with a minimum of five years in the NGO sector, including as a Country Director.
- Good knowledge of budget management, HR systems, program design and implementation, and representation.
- Outstanding participatory leadership skills and experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Demonstrated ability to manage effectively within an organizational structure.
- Highly collaborative style and ability to work across cultures.
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is required, and French is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to the mission of CorpsAfrica and a desire to support youth leadership and participatory community development.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator
Location: Addis Ababa
Skill and Educational Background:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, social sciences, economics, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in international development or humanitarian assistance.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R) and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, MAX DQA, Dedoose).
- Experience programming tools in Survey CTO for monitoring and evaluation data collection.
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms is advantageous.
- Experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including developing indicators, data collection tools, and data management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment, with demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Ability to travel internationally to project sites as needed.

3. Volunteer
Location: Rural Ethiopia
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a citizen of Ethiopia.
- Be 21 years of age or older at the time of the start of service.
- Possess a university degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Willing and able, physically and emotionally, to serve as a Volunteer for the entirety of the service year in rural, often remote, communities.
- No record of criminal activity that would demonstrate unsuitability for CorpsAfrica service.
- No conflict of interest that would interfere with duties and responsibilities as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
- Understand that volunteerism is an altruistic act, where one offers their time, skills, and resources without expectation of financial gain.
General Expectations of a CorpsAfrica Volunteer:
- Commit to working as a Volunteer in a highly underserved community in rural Ethiopia to improve the quality of life in the community.
- Serve where CorpsAfrica asks them to serve, under conditions of hardship if necessary.
- Recognize that success is based on building trust and confidence with the host community.
- Understand that they are responsible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for personal conduct and professional performance.
- Engage with host community partners in a spirit of cooperation, mutual learning, and respect.
- Exercise good judgment and take personal responsibility to protect health, safety, and overall well-being.
- Recognize and respect the people, cultures, values, and traditions of the community served and fellow Volunteers.
CorpsAfrica Volunteers Receive:
- Expert pre-service and in-service training from development and management professionals.
- A living allowance adequate to support the Volunteer at their site and health insurance.
- Travel funds for official CorpsAfrica business.
- Upon successful completion of service, an end-of-service readjustment allowance, a certificate of completion, and a letter of recommendation.
