Tbab Trading PLC is looking for a qualified and motivated individual to join the company as a Junior Accountant. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day financial operations and providing financial support to senior executives.
Position: Junior Accountant
Duty Station: Wello Sefer, Addis Ababa
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and transactions.
- Oversee financial department employees such as financial assistants and accountants.
- Coordinate with outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, and other financial needs.
- Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify improvement areas.
- Seek methods to minimize financial risk to the company.
- Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.
- Provide insights and expectations to senior executives for decision-making.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients.
- Stay updated with technological advances and accounting software.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field.
