Job Purpose:
The Marketing and Sales Officer is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies to promote the company’s products and services, driving sales and revenue growth. This role involves market research, product promotion, customer relationship management, and sales target achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs and preferences.
- Marketing Plans and Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to effectively promote the company’s products and services.
- Digital Marketing: Manage the company’s social media presence and digital marketing initiatives to engage with potential and existing customers.
- Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and provide support in closing sales.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers and work to expand the customer base.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance data, and provide regular reports to the Marketing and Sales Manager.
- Strategic Improvements: Identify and recommend improvements to the company’s marketing and sales strategies based on market insights and performance data.
- Event Participation: Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities to represent the company and showcase its offerings.
- Brand Compliance: Ensure compliance with the company’s branding guidelines and marketing policies.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing and Sales Manager.
Job Specification:
- Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or sales role, preferably in the manufacturing or production industry.
