Financial Benefits:
The Anglia Ruskin University Merit Scholarship offers the following financial benefits:
- For Bachelor’s degree courses:
- £2,000 for achieving BBB grades or above
- £1,000 for achieving CCC grades or above (or equivalent international qualification)
- For Master’s degree programs:
- £2,000 for a 2:1 grade
- £1,000 for a 2:2 grade
- For research degree programs:
- £2,000 for applicants with a Distinction in a UK Masters degree (or international equivalent)
- £1,000 for participants with a Merit in a UK Masters degree (or international equivalent)
Eligibility Criteria:
- All international students are eligible to apply.
- Acceptable courses or subjects: Candidates can apply for undergraduate, postgraduate (including PG Dip Legal Practice Course), or research degree programs at the university. Exclusions include Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance-learning or work-based degrees, Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diplomas, and students joining a Masters with credit-level courses.
- Admissible criteria: Must commence full-time studies at the university and adhere to the terms and conditions for the award.
- For undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs, the award will be given in the first year. For research programs, the grant will be awarded each year that full tuition fees are paid, up to a maximum of three years.
- Applicants must commence their studies at the Cambridge or Chelmsford campuses of the university.

There are two intakes per year for Anglia Ruskin University:
- For May intake: May 3, 2024
- For September intake: September 20, 2024
Application Procedure:
- Interested applicants should follow the online application process to apply for the Anglia Ruskin University Merit Scholarship 2024 in the UK. Upon admission to an undergraduate, postgraduate, or research degree program at ARU university, applicants will automatically be considered for the scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Undergraduate applicants should have achieved CCC grades or above at A-level (or equivalent), while postgraduate candidates must hold a 2:2 or above (or equivalent).
- Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
