Position: Inclusive Growth Team Intern
Skill and Educational Background:
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree programme in economics, public policy, development studies, or a related area from a recognized, accredited university.
- Previous work experience is not required, but some relevant experience in international development would be an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent computer skills.
- Understanding of issues related to international development and knowledge of the UN system is desirable.
- Strong drafting and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively in multicultural teams.
- Good Graphic Design, Visual Arts, and/or Communications skills are advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is desirable.
Internship Requirements:
- Responsible for obtaining necessary visas and arranging travel to and from the duty station (Addis Ababa).
- UNDP provides a stipend to cover basic daily expenses related to the internship.
- Interns must provide proof of enrollment in a health insurance plan.
- Interns are not staff members and may not represent UNDP in any official capacity.
