1. Business Mentors
Location: Debere Tabor-(South Gondar) & Woldia-(North Wollo)
Salary: Negotiable subject to organizational salary scale and project budget
Job Summary:
Business Mentors will be stationed in Debere Tabor & Woldia towns USAID HRA Coordination offices. They will support networks to combat challenges faced by the PSNP households on their entrepreneurial journey. The Business Mentor is responsible for assisting and offering direction to their mentees (PSNP households), helping them run and grow their businesses, and encouraging them to develop the skills they need to be successful.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Minimum of MA/MSc/ BA/BSc in Economics, agri-business, social work, sociology, or related field
- Minimum 2/4 years of previous job experience relevant to the function
- Strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and proficient communication skills
- Fluency in English is compulsory, knowledge of Amharic is an advantage
2. Field Associate
Location: Debretabor (South Gondar) & Woldia (North Wollo)
Salary: Negotiable subject to organizational salary scale and project budget
Duration: One year contract, with the possibility of renewal depending on merit and job continuity.
Job Summary:
The Field Associate will accomplish daily tasks and follow up on the performance of PSNP activities in the field. They will provide support and facilitation for the smooth program implementation of the program at all levels.
Skill and Educational Background:
- MSc/MA; BSc/BA degree in Agriculture, Sociology, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of 2/4 years proven & relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
3. Enterprise and Saving Coordinator
Location: Debretabor (South Gondar) & Woldia (North Wollo)
Salary: Negotiable subject to organizational salary scale and project budget
Duration: One year contract, with the possibility of renewal depending on merit and job continuity.
Job Summary:
The Enterprise and Saving Coordinator will plan, organize, and coordinate enterprise and saving-related activities, monitor their progress, and report outcomes. They will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and donor requirements.
Skill and Educational Background:
- BSc/BA or MSc/MA degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum of 4/2 years proven & relevant work experience in Rural Livelihood-based development
- Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and proficiency in basic Microsoft packages
4. Enterprise and Saving Lead
Location: Debre-Tabor (South Gondar)
Salary: Negotiable subject to organizational salary scale and project budget
Job Summary:
The Enterprise and Saving Lead will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of enterprise and saving-related activities at Zonal and Woreda levels. They will work with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are implemented effectively.
Skill and Educational Background:
- BSc/BA or MSc/MA degree in Market System, Program Management, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum of 6/4 years proven & relevant work experience
- Previous experience in Graduation Market Systems Development and microenterprises support
