Position: Senior Credit Collector
Role Purpose:
The Senior Credit Collector is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Credit & Collections / Accounts Receivable (OTC) plans and processes. The role aims to minimize risk, ensure timely repayments, minimize losses, and ensure economic collection of arrears in line with internal and external policies, standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Key Tasks:
- Administer Credit and Collections and Accounts Receivable plans and processes to minimize risk and ensure timely repayments.
- Act as a liaison and influence other specialist departments and external service providers.
- Define processes and advocate for new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers.
- Understand customer and key stakeholders’ interests and concerns and advise accordingly.
- Analyze and implement processes such as customer credit approval verification.
- Identify and resolve customer issues escalated by team members.
- Coach employees on Credit and Collections and provide technical guidance to line managers.
- Follow up with reminder letters and emails to customers for outstanding accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Experience Level:
- More than 2 years of relevant experience.
