Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth functioning of applications and networks across all ECX offices.
- Provide first-level contact and resolutions to customer issues.
- Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track, route, redirect, follow, and close incidents.
- Diagnose hardware and software network problems.
- Perform routine checks and report on the performance level of IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot HOSP problems with computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist in minimizing monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage the use of computer systems and provide related training.
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
- Liaise and work with other IT units and central IT support staff.
- Maintain a historical record of problem resolution and submit trouble reports.
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
- Evaluate vendor-supplied hardware and software.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
