ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents 2024 in China (Fully Funded)

Part II Description

The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) is a non-profit, non-governmental international organization founded in 2018. ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents was launched in 2019 to train and cultivate young scientists globally. The scholarship supports Master’s and PhD students to pursue postgraduate education at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in China.

Part II: Coverage

PhD Program:

  1. Tuition waiver
  2. Monthly stipend: 6,000 or 7,000 CNY/month (up to 48 months)
  3. Health insurance
  4. Application fee waiver
  5. International travel allowance
  6. One-time visa/residence permit allowance

Master’s Program:

  1. Tuition waiver
  2. Monthly stipend: 3,000 CNY/month (up to 36 months)
  3. Health insurance
  4. Application fee waiver
  5. International travel allowance
  6. One-time visa/residence permit allowance

Part III: Eligibility

  • Applicants should NOT hold Chinese citizenship.
  • Proficient in English or Chinese.
  • For Master’s program applicants: born after 1st January 1994.
  • For PhD program applicants: born after 1st January 1989.
  • Meet the admission criteria for USTC/UCAS.
  • Should NOT take up other assignments during the scholarship period.

Part IV: Application Procedure

  • Open for application on 20th October 2023.
  • Deadline: 15th February 2024 (Beijing Time).
  • Apply through USTC/UCAS admission system.
  • Choose “the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents” in your application.
